This game always saves data to the same file, usually at fixed points in the story (a process known as [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autosave]Autosave[/url]). The player is not able to keep multiple saves at different points in the game, so if they wish to see the results of making a different choice they will often need to restart the game from the beginning.
